Toddler

There are no “You must be this tall” signs here! Toddlers always want to have all the fun of their older siblings or friends, but aren’t always big enough. The Step 2 Up and Down Roller Coaster allows them to get into the action – and have their own mini amusement park right in the backyard. This fun toddler toy will offer your child hours of fun – and you don’t have to worry about her safety. The Up and Down Roller Coaster is specifically designed for toddlers who are just a little two small the real deal roller coasters but still want to have a great ride.

Step 2 makes some of the best toddler ride on toys and playsets that we’ve seen; we love the fun that these toys bring to little children, the accessibility, the sturdy design, and the kid-friendly features. The Coaster has a 10-foot long track made of interlocking pieces. This is a huge bonus for parents – assembly is quick as you just lock the pieces together. There is a gentle decline at the start of the track and another dip near the end. Your child won’t be hanging upside down or screeching around corners – for which we can breathe a big sigh of relief – but she’ll be entertained and thrilled by the ups and downs as she glides on the fun yellow car.

Let’s talk safety. When we have children test toddler riding toys for us, we never put them on something that we wouldn’t put our own children on. Many of our own children love to test ride ons. We know that safety is the primary concern of every parent, and the Step 2 Up and Down Roller Coaster is made fist and foremost to be safe. It is fun, yes. It is bright and colorful, yes. But most importantly, it is a toy that you don’t have to worry about. The Coaster is made of molded plastic which is extremely durable and strong. The smooth edges prevent cuts and scrapes, and the material can take being jumped on, kicked, climbed on, and used day after day after day. The Coaster has a recessed retainer wall at the top so when your child mounts the car, it does not start rolling. The car will go when she’s ready. Two non-slip steps allow easy access to the car from either side of the track. The car itself has a high back, a secure handle, and footrest to keep every body part safe and intact.

Can you still use the Step 2 Coaster if you don’t have a big yard? Many of us don’t have sprawling lawns, and that’s ok. Toddler ride on toys should be versatile enough to accommodate both child and parent. The Coaster’s individual parts can also be used for big fun. This is great for small yards and even to keep fun going in the winter. Set up one section of the Coaster in the living room, and you still have a fun toy. You can use the car as a regular ride on toy if you want. Toddlers will also use the track for rolling balls or other toys. It could be a fun walkway for stuffed buddies or dolls. Don’t worry; toddlers are the most creative people we know. They’ll find tons of ways to have fun with the Step 2 Up and Down Roller Coaster.
