Razor Scooters

There are always toys that are designed for older children, and then the younger children of the family immediately attempt to use the toy that wasn’t designed with them in mind, and immediately they get hurt. This is one reason why we enjoy companies that make toys for older children and that we were happy to have a look at the Razor Jr Kiddie Kick.

There are a number of different Razor scooters designed for older children. And while they’re all great to play with, the problem is that young children often don’t have the balance required in order to keep the scooter steady, so while they’re trying to emulate their big brother or big sister, they fall and get hurt. Fortunately there are some that are designed for young children to use and that are made for their level of expertise and skill. The Razor Jr Kick is designed for children who are at least three years old and who are under 45 pounds. Unlike other scooters, this one has three different wheels instead of two, and a wider back than the other scooters, making it easier to keep the scooter on the path and less difficult to tip it over. The deck is slip-resistant, so those children who jump onto it with just their socks on won’t get into trouble if they jump on the scooter without having shoes on.

Like other scooters in the popular Razor scooter line, this scooter is made using the same sturdy and strong materials that have made the company famous. The toy is sturdy enough to handle anything your toddler, or young child, can dish out, making it comforting in knowing that you will not have to worry about it breaking down should it get tipped over accidentally. The glide on this scooter is much like the glide on others in the line: so smooth that you almost feel as though you’re gliding. There is a bit more tension added, however, to keep the little ones from going so fast that they can’t control themselves.

The Razor Jr Kiddie Kick has got a number of features to recommend it, including the foam handles, the lightness of it, the easy assembly, and the ease of control, but what we love the most is that it looks just like the grown-up version of the Razor scooter without being as difficult to control, allowing younger siblings, or any young children in your home, to be able to enjoy riding around without you having to worry that they are going to get harmed. All in all we find it  to be an excellent scooter, but we do recommend that you put the proper safety items on your child before you allow them to ride, especially if they are going to be riding on a hard surface, and we also recommend that you watch young ones the whole time they’re riding around to make sure that they stay in the area they are supposed to stay in.
