Pogo Sticks

Whenever we receive a toy to test out that is a toy that can go outside and can be beneficial for exercise, we’re always ecstatic. While we love video games and games, we also feel that it’s vital for kids to get out and go play! We were really excited to give the Flybar Foam Master a try and couldn’t wait to get it open the minute that it arrived at the office.

Unlike other pogo sticks that are for sale now, this one comes in two different colors: black and yellow and blue and silver, which is great for any family that has more than one child in it. If you’ve got two of the same color, you’re likely to get into a battle over whose toy is whose! Fortunately the Flybar Foam Master does come in two different colors, making it easy for families of two children, or even families of that have more children, to tell whose toy is whose.

There are lots of other toys that are similar on the market, but what most parents don’t realize is that many of them are designed for older children who have a great deal of balance and who are able to handle the power. This model, however, is designed for younger children, aged nine and older. It is a beginning pogo stick that is designed to help children, and even teens, who have never jumped on one to learn how to jump around. It is sturdy enough and strong enough, however, to also allow them to do some tricks when they get more comfortable jumping around, making it the ideal first stick for any beginner.

Once you get it out of the box, you can immediately start jumping. Make sure you wear a helmet, though, as most people jump outside and it’s really easy to slip and fall, especially when you’re first starting out. After a bit of laughing, all of our testers were all able to get on the pogo stick and start jumping around with relative ease. In just a few minutes they all felt like they had mastered it. It’s safe enough for creative play, and it takes just a few moments to understand the balance necessary for the exercise involved. It’s important to note, though, that it does take some getting used to, and it is a bit tiring for those new to pogo sticks.

While the Flybar Foam Master may not be for those experienced pogo-ers who know how to do tons of tricks and who are looking for tons of air, it’s the ideal first stick to buy your children. It is strong enough to handle any average sized child. Make sure you check the rubber tips often to see if they need replacement, as the amount of wear and tear your child that your child is likely to put on them is going to wear them down quickly.
