Once we got the Super Pogo Stick out of its package, we decided to try it on a number of different surfaces. It worked beautifully outside on the sidewalk and even in the garage, but it was a bit less easy to control when we were in the house and on slick tile. The carpet was fine to bounce around on, but the fact that the ceiling loomed so close made us think twice about wanting to use the toy inside of the house. The toy bounced smoothly and wasn’t as loud as we remember the older ones to have been. It was actually a lot easier to bounce on than we remembered: simply get on and start bouncing. It’s actually quite a workout. The trouble comes if you want to go in a specific direction – you may have to work for awhile to remember how to control the toy enough to get it to react to what you are trying to do. We did everything that we could safely think of to do, including trying to bounce down a few wide stairs, and pushing off of a wall to bounce around. One thing is for sure: we’re really glad that they are back and better than ever, and if they keep making toys like the Super Pogo Stick, and if stunt guys keep using them in their tricks and showing children how much fun they can be, it’s a good bet that this is one toy that will be here to stay.
