The putting together part was fairly easy. In just a few minutes we had the parts out of the box and the machine put together. The charging part, however, seemed to take forever, even though it was only 8 hours. The second time we charged it we left it plugged in overnight to lessen the waiting period a bit, but the first time we were constantly checking to see if it was charged. For an eight hour charge we got almost an hour’s worth of ride out of the Razor E300s Electric Scooter, which seemed like a fair amount and was more than long enough to ride around the neighborhood enjoying ourselves. And trust us when we say that this is nothing if not extremely enjoyable.

Thanks to the pneumatic front and rear tires, the ride is extremely smooth, even when you’re on a parking lot or sidewalk surface that is a little bumpy, and if you’ve got it on a smooth surface you will feel almost as if you’re gliding, the ride is so smooth. The Razor E300s works thanks to a hand acceleration control which is timed to work perfectly with the motor, making it easy to speed up to the full 15 miles an hour or easy to stay at a lesser pace. Unlike some of the other models, the comfort is magnified on this scooter due to its optional seat. The seat is bolted in and can be removed, along with the post, in just a few minutes, so you can choose to stand and ride around or to sit in comfort while you canvas the neighborhood. The scooter can safely take up to 220 pounds, and we had that much, and more, on it without any change in the amount of speed that you can get to.
