Power Wheels toys are just one line among many offered by the Fisher- Price company. Fisher- Price specializes in durable toys for young children, and their name is highly trusted among parents. So it’s no surprise that the electric ride on toys made by Fisher- Price are also among the most popular with parents and young kids alike. We’ve watched the line of Power Wheels toys grow for the last several years, and it’s always amazing to see what new product they’ve come up with. One such product is the Power Wheels Escalade, a kid- sized SUV made to look just like the adult version of the Cadillac Escalade. Kids love this one, and it’s a particular favorite for parents who happen to drive that very vehicle. Now the kids can have a car just like Mom and Dad’s, thanks to this great line of electric ride on toys.
The Power Wheels Escalade is in the two to six year old line of Power Wheels ride on toys. For kid safety and parental peace of mind, there are two speeds available for kids to use. When kids push the “gas” pedal down just a bit, the vehicle travels at an easy 2.5 miles per hour. When they “floor it”, it goes a fun five miles per hour. Of course, as a safety feature that Power Wheels is including in more and more of their battery powered ride on toys, there is a high speed lock- out feature that parents can use to make sure that kids can only travel at a top speed of 2.5 miles per hour. This feature is great for beginners who are still trying to figure out how to steer and brake, and it’s also great for the youngest drivers, since parents will probably be running alongside the vehicle to make sure the little one doesn’t drive into trouble. These safety features make the Escalade a great electric ride on toy for young children.

Adults love to get a new vehicle that is fully loaded with great features, and kids love extras too. That’s another fantastic thing about the Power Wheels Escalade- it’s equipped with loads of extras that kids love. Our favorite extra is the real working FM radio built right into the dashboard. Kids can tune in to their favorite kind of music and rock out while they cruise around. Some electric ride on toys for kids have a decoy radio that looks like an FM radio but then only plays a few little electronic ditties. We were happy to see that this radio is the real deal. We also love the battery charge indicator, which is a feature we think all battery powered ride on toys should have. There is nothing more disappointing to a child than to be driving along and having fun, only to have the fun unexpectedly cut short when the vehicle grinds to a halt due to a dead battery. The battery charge indicator takes care of this problem, giving kids that all- important advanced warning so that they know when the battery will need to be charged. They can even say they need to stop for “gas” and pull their Power Wheels Escalade up to the house or garage to hook up to the charger (or gas pump). The Escalade is also loaded with realistic little extras, like chrome wheels and grill, see- through windows, and working doors.
