The Power Wheels Barbie Jeep is a delight for the eyes and will please any little girl with its bright pink, purple, and turquoise colors. This electric ride on toy is recommended for ages 3 years and up. The model provides two forward speeds: 2.5 mph and 5.0 mph, with a reverse position of 2.5 mph. This type operates on a 12-volt rechargeable battery, which is included with the toy, along with a battery charger. The toy also requires 3 “AA” batteries which are not included.

The Power Wheels Barbie Jeep can carry the driver and one passenger so it is just right for friends to go cruising together in. It holds a maximum of 130 pounds. This model of electric riding toy also comes with a removable boom box that fits nicely into the dashboard for cruising to tunes. Your little one will be on cloud nine driving this little dream machine around.

This realistic version of power wheels toys provides a real key that turns when it is inserted into the ignition to start the jeep. The knobs and switches make “clicking” noises, and the front of the Jeep has a grille that looks like the real thing! When changing “gears” from 2.5 to 5.0 mph, a stick shifter will help make that adjustment. A storage compartment is available at the back of the jeep to carry all kinds of needed “stuff” along on any journey. As well, a pretend CB mic is included and seatbelts are added as a measure of not only safety, but because grown-ups use seat belts in their real cars.

When introducing electric ride on toys to children, it is always advised that an adult remain handy to supervise operation of the toy. This is especially important for child-oriented transportation toys that move.

This model handled well when cruising up our man-made hills at the testing track. It had no problems at all in getting over rocks, small hills, and other rough terrain that was set up as a testing field for the toy.

This brand proved to be of superior quality throughout our testing session. It runs great on grass, sidewalks, through small puddles, and even a little bit of mud, should your little princess find some.

The battery lasts a long time. Always a reminder for parents of active children who will drive the jeep every day, remember to put the battery on the charger overnight so that it will be ready for the next day’s big adventures. This is a great toy to take to a park (under adult supervision). Staffers heard parents talking among themselves and saying how the storage area at the back of the jeep would be a great place to pack picnic snacks until arrival at the chosen picnic location. It’s a handy little toy as well as being tons of fun for your little one!
